Malik Tillman arrives in Manchester to undergo Rangers medical, will join up with squad in Blackpool on Saturday
Bayern Munich midfielder Malik Tillman has arrived in Manchester to undergo a medical with Rangers before joining up with the rest of the squad in Blackpool, according to The Scottish Express.
The newspaper reported via their website on Friday (15 July) that Tillman, 20, is set to join the Light Blues on a season-long loan.
The Times had earlier reported on Friday that there’ll be an option for the Gers to sign the Germany-born USA international permanently next summer.

Tillman played seven times for Bayern’s first team last season.
He’s a versatile midfielder who usually plays in an attacking role. However, he can also sit deep in the middle of the park, play on either wing or even feature as a centre-forward.
While playing for Bayern’s second team last season, Tillman scored four goals and supplied four assists in 15 league appearances.
For the senior side, he was trusted to play four times in the Bundesliga and was even handed a start against Borussia Monchengladbach in January.
In the Champions League, he came off the bench in wins against Dynamo Kyiv and Barcelona while he also scored his first senior goal against Bremer SV in the German Cup in August.
Tillman is an exciting young player and if this loan deal goes well, you can expect the Gers to trigger the option to buy him permanently.
Let’s hope it doesn’t go too well though because Bayern might want to keep him for their own first team in a year’s time.
