Rangers fans attempt to hire hot air balloon to get to Europa League final
People will go a long way to watch their team away from home and those lengths extend very far when it comes to Europe as these Rangers fans have found out.
With plane ticket prices soaring at this moment in time, a few Rangers supporters have taken it upon themselves to try and find new means of getting to the sunny shores of Spain with the final to be held in Seville.
The Rainbow Hot Air Balloon Team have confirmed that they have received a few requests from Gers fans for cross-channel travel on the day of the final.
”OK, everyone, we received messages from three different people, asking about balloon flights over the Channel to France,” the firm stated, as quoted by the Daily Record.
“We can confirm we do not fly over the Channel. If this is a joke, it is a funny one!”

The most sensible cause of action would surely be flying to London somewhere and then getting the Eurostar onto French soil before either flying again or changing trains to get all the way to Seville.
But this is a wonderful opportunity for a road trip and there will no doubt be some groups of fans looking to explore the French and Spanish landscape on their way to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and it sounds like it would be the best away day travel you could imagine.
In other Rangers news, Amad Diallo might have bought himself another season at Ibrox after his standout display against Dundee United.
