Rangers fans will love John Lundstram after hilarious Celtic fan stare down

Rangers fans will absolutely love John Lundstram after he showed no fear by staring down the Hoops fans on his way out of Celtic Park on Sunday [May 1].

Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side settled for a 1-1 draw in the last Old Firm clash of the season with the Gers largely playing for pride with the league title all but wrapped up.

After the game, the Light Blues midfielder was met with a chorus of boos and jeers whilst leaving the stadium.

The former Sheffield United star didn’t look phased one bit – smirking as he walked out and glaring at the Celtic fans.

The 28-year-old even looked to have given them a cheeky nod as he turned the corner. This year has seen him become a snarling presence in the Gers midfield and now he is using the same tricks off the pitch making him a real fan favourite.

Focus on themselves.

It would have been nice to win away at Celtic Park but yesterday was all about not losing.

Celtic have certainly got the one up on Rangers head-to-head this season and with the league title going their way at the end of the season the perfect example.

Van Bronckhorst would have stressed to his players the importance of the game but equally the importance of taking care of their own business.

Nobody will care that the Hoops have won the league this year if the Bears make it right by winning the Europa League and Scottish Cup.

The boss would have undoubtedly liked to have rested his key men ahead of their crunch semi-final second leg against RB Leipzig on Thursday but with it being an Old Firm that was impossible.

Seeing out the Germans later this week will see the Light Blues in two cup finals in May – a hugely important month.

In other Rangers news, Mark Hateley has shared a big issue that the Gers have to fix before RB Leipzig’s visit to Ibrox.
