Giovanni van Bronckhorst warns Rangers of ‘quality’ Old Firm opponent
Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst has stressed the importance for his team to be ‘organised’ ahead of the Old Firm.
The Gers travel to Celtic Park tonight (February 2) to face their Glaswegian rivals in a clinched top of the table clash.
Rangers sit just two points ahead of Celtic with a winner tonight making a huge step towards the title.

Van Bronckhorst has warned his players of the ‘quality’ of the Hoops in a mustn’t lose fixture.
“To prepare for a game like this is really nice because you want to get the best out your team, to perform well, make sure everything is organised.” He said as per footballscotland.
“It’s all with a lot of energy and I’m sure everything is there to get a good result.”
When asked whether his side will adopt a more cautious approach against Celtic, he added: “We’re going to prepare for every team by watching games and seeing where their strengths lie and seeing where we can exploit any space and be dangerous.
“Of course, with the quality Celtic has, it’s different from any other team in Scotland. They’re a top team so we have to have our game plan and we have to execute it.”

Crunch time
This could be the game that decides the title and Rangers simply can’t afford to lose.
A win would see the Bears extend their lead at the top of the table to five points and almost grab the Scottish Premiership trophy with one hand.
There is of course still a long way to go but it would be a real sign of intent from the Light Blues.
A win would see Celtic go one point ahead at the top of the league, a deficit that could easily be overturned but might just swing the momentum in the title race after the weekend’s disappointing draw with Ross County.
A shadow will be cast over the game with Rangers fans unable to travel to Celtic Park – an issue that is having a major negative impact on the famous derby clash and needs resolving.
However, no Rangers fan will care if they were there or not as long as the team goes out and gets a positive result.
