Rangers want to sign Racing Santander attacking midfielder Pablo Torre

Rangers are reportedly keeping tabs on Racing Santander attacking midfielder Pablo Torre.

According to the Daily Record, Gers are keeping tabs on the 18-year-old sensation who is rated extremely highly in Spain.

Racing has been recommended to Rangers’ scouts as they’re cash-strapped and could look to cash in on his services.

He’s also got a release clause which is believed to be around £4 million.

Worth considering

Gers are not the only club keen on securing the services of the teenage attacking sensation.

A number of clubs in Spain, including league leaders Real Madrid, are keeping an eye on the 18-year-old.

Torre truly is a special talent for his age and plays with the maturity of a player in his prime.

He’s predominantly a roaming playmaker but enjoys making those late runs into the box that leave defences for dead.

The Spaniard also has an eye for a pass and is capable of dictating the tempo based on the situation of the game.

Football Talent Scout have labelled him an “all-action” player and we certainly agree with their assessment.

The 19-year-old is extremely similar to Joey Veerman so we can understand the kind of players that Gers are looking to sign and he fits the bill perfectly.

Whether or not Gers table a genuine bid for him remains to be seen, but we’re hoping that they do as he would be a perfect fit.

In other Rangers news, the club want to sign a ‘Fantastic’ England international who is 28, and could get him to sign a pre-contract once the January window opens on 1st.
