Rangers Super Fans discuss their club continuing to block away fans

This is part of a regular series from our panel of Rangers Super Fans. Each week, our Super Fans will deliver their verdicts on the biggest talking points and news stories around Ibrox. You can join in the discussion on our Rangers Insider Facebook page.

Rangers Super Fans have flocked to a post on the Rangers Insider Facebook page about their club’s stance on away fans.

Hibernian are the latest club to be denied an allocation of away tickets at Ibrox, and they have been forced to host a beam back at Easter Road for Hibs fans [Edinburgh Evening News].

The SPFL have been urged to get involved by Hugh Keevins as he believes that the Gers are failing to fulfil one of their required responsibilities, and it seems that our Super Fans also want to see away fans back in Ibrox [Daily Record].

Will the Gers listen?

Ibrox is a fantastic stadium and can produce one of the best atmospheres in the United Kingdom, if not in Europe.

However, what makes that atmosphere even more special is the away fans as they compete against the Bears fans, which only makes the Gers supporters louder.

Despite this, though, the club are not allowing away fans entry to Ibrox, and it is just a real shame for all of the other SPFL clubs.

In truth, the league should probably step in and force the Gers to allow away fans into the ground, and it is good to see that our Super Fans want to see the same thing because it will just make games a bit more special.

We have waited so long to be allowed into grounds to watch all of our teams play that it doesn’t seem right that the Bears are picking and choosing who is allowed to watch games at Ibrox.

Hopefully, this all changes very soon.

In other Rangers news, James Tavernier is excited to see one Gers man in action.
