Ianis Hagi sends Rangers Instagram message as Roma links surface

Rangers playmaker Ianis Hagi has been in the headlines all week for more than one reason at Ibrox.

First of all, the Romanian stole the show on his return against Livingston before it was reported that Roma had agreed to a deal to sign him.

Sport shared that the Italian side will pay £17million and complete the deal once the January window opens.

Hagi appears to be none wiser regarding this so-called deal and has delivered a message on his Instagram account.

The playmaker is already looking ahead to the semi-finals of the League Cup at Hampden against Hibernian, never mind an exit.

“Thank you everyone for all the kind messages throughout the two weeks of self-isolation,” he said.

“Fully recovered and really happy to be back at Ibrox with the team and fans yesterday. Looking forward to seeing you guys at Hampden as well.”

Nonsense?

This message certainly isn’t from a player that has agreed an exit from the club and is counting down the time until January.

£17million would be a tremendous amount of money and profit for the Bears after missing out on the Champions League, but Hagi staying would be a bigger boost.

The attacker proved just how much he is worth to the club with his instant impact on Wednesday, and given our shocking form in the final third, he is needed more than ever right now.

Winning the league and securing instant qualification for the Champions League group stage should be on our mind right now, never mind selling anyone.

Hagi looks more motivated thane ver to get stuck in after his enforced absence, and as it stands, he will be at Ibrox for the foreseeable future.
