Bill Young blown away by Rangers star Glen Kamara v Real Madrid

Bill Young was left blown away by Rangers star Glen Kamara after the 2-1 win over Real Madrid on Sunday.

While Celtic were getting battered across Glasgow by West Ham, the Bears took apart and could have scored more against the Galacticos.

John Lundstram was preferred ahead of Kamara from the start, but Kamara came on at the break to show his class in the second-half.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Young shared his verdict on the majority of pre-season for the Bears.

Singling out Kamara appeared to be the one huge takeaway from the win over Madrid, coming back from the EUROs with a bang.

“Great confidence booster going into the new season.

“Rangers looking sharp and ready, Itten’s winner a corker. Kamara World-class and could play anywhere, Rangers looked sharp and well balanced.”

Tie him down.

There has been huge speculation surrounding Kamara’s future, with his contract running down at Ibrox.

Every single week, we are left begging Steven Gerrard and the club to offer whatever the midfielder wants – especially after his EUROs displays.

Beating Real Madrid was the perfect end to the pre-season, and Gerrard will be left thrilled despite Carlo Ancelotti naming a so-called weaker side.

Kamara was likely held back after returning to pre-season training, and no doubt will be included alongside Lundstram and Steven Davis once the season starts.

That midfield trio would be unstoppable.

In the heart of that will no doubt be Kamara, and if he can dominate Madrid, imagine what he will do when the season starts.
