Rangers have included a recall option in the loan deal of exit-linked attacker Kai Kennedy, according to the Daily Record.

On Thursday, Dunfermline Athletic confirmed that Kennedy had joined the club on loan.

As seen in the graphic above, The Daily Record 23 July, pg.66 carried a report of his loan, including the bit about there being a recall option.

Good move

Kennedy is a solid prospect who is not too far away from the first team. Ideally, another good year on loan would put him in contention for being at least a squad player in the senior side.

He's spent time out on loan at Inverness Caley Thistle and Raith Rovers and has impressed there - taking his game to the next level by honing his skills in the lower divisions.

The Rangers youngster is certainly one to look out for in the future and has already been given the recognition he deserves by UEFA.

Rangers

Kennedy has been included in UEFA's best Youth League XI for the 19/20 season for his exemplary performances.

The team includes wonderkids from a number of top European clubs including Real Madrid and Juventus - putting him in elite company.

Keeping him in Scotland would be ideal as we can keep a closer eye on the player and Steven Gerrard could even fly down to watch him play whenever he gets some time off.

It's vital that Gerrard has been handed the right to call him back at any point as we would need a deeper squad if we do well in the Champions League and progress to the Round of 16.
