Celtic ace Liam Shaw names Steven Gerrard his hero
Rangers will be looking to once again dominate Celtic next season as they continue their invincible run in the Scottish Premiership.
The Bears crushed their fierce rivals in all competitions last season, forcing them to go through two managers, and recently appoint Ange Postecoglou as their third.
While Ross Wilson has signed top-level talent such as John Lundstram and Fashion Sakala, Celtic have announced two players both relegated with Sheffield Wednesday.
If that wasn’t embarrassing enough, it is about to get even worst for them.
Liam Shaw, one of the new signings was asked this week who his hero was growing up by The Sun, something he should have thought about before answering.
“My favourite was Gerrard,” he said. “Just the way he was as a player.
“He inspired me to be that type of all-action midfielder who is up and down the pitch, works his socks off and scores a lot of goals as well.”
Everything to do with Celtic is just making it far too easy for them to look like a laughing stock once again.
You’d think after the season they just had, it would impossible to get any worst, but here is one of their new signings naming one of his club’s biggest rivals his favourite ever player.
He could have named anyone, even Frank Lampard, but no, he chose the mighty Gerrard, our leader and the man set to take us to another title.
All we can do is simply sit back and laugh, the shambles show continues.
Things could be about to get even worst for the Hoops on the pitch, never mind of it, with the Bears living rent-free in their heads yet again.
