Alan Hutton buzzing as Rangers announce John Lundstram

Alan Hutton has reacted as Rangers confirmed the signing of John Lundstram on Monday afternoon.

The former Sheffield United man arrived at Ibrox on a free transfer, signing a three-year deal to reinforce the squad.

Steven Gerrard was left buzzing with the news, and it appears as though a number of club legends feel exactly the same.

Rangers announced the news all over their social media pages, including their Instagram account a matter of hours ago.

Hutton was in the comments reacting to the news, and shared some fire emojis as the Bears start to prepare for the title defence.

What a signing.

Lundstram has been playing in the Premier League for two seasons straight now, and was an expert of pushing into the final third.

The season before last was arguably the best of his career, scoring five goals and adding three assists in his 34 appearances.

Glen Kamara and Steven Davis were screaming out for more competition in midfield, with an injury to one of those seriously harmful to the squad.

With doubts over the future of Kamara, Lundstram has given the Bears serious breathing room moving forward.

Arriving on a free, it is the perfect signing, and another example of Ross Wilson working his magic in the market.

Celtic can’t even throw a side together at this moment in time, having only just appointed Ange Postecoglou, whereas we’re bringing in proven Premier League players.

There will be plenty of nails bitten across the next month, as they prepare for another season of embarrassment at the hands of the mighty Bears.
