Tom English shares Twitter reaction as Rangers lift Scottish Premiership title
Rangers have finally lifted the Scottish Premiership title aloft on Saturday afternoon, bringing a decade of torment to an end.
The Bears did it in style too, crushing Aberdeen 4-0 to finish as invincible and cruise past the 100-point mark in a record-breaking year.
BBC journalist Tom English was clearly impressed with the achievement, as he praised the Light Blues for the amount of “bottle” on show at Ibrox.
English hasn’t got the best of relationships with Rangers fans, but his instant reaction to the achievement on Twitter appears to show a change of heart.
“If you have to go through so many years of stress and anger about what’s going to happen to your football club then that’s the way to bring it to an end,” he wrote.
“Rangers win in a landslide. A fine team with a lot of bottle. Good on them.”

The likes of English and Michael Stewart are the usual suspects at the BBC who can’t help themselves when something goes wrong at Ibrox.
We can predict that there was slight anger as he typed this out, and the Bears crushed wrongdoings of the past where they supposedly “bottled” it.
The slight dig in this message wasn’t missed, and we take great pride in rubbing the smile of everyone who was against us throughout this campaign.
This record-breaking season will stay in the memory forever, as we break the most clean-sheets record, most home wins and many more.
We can’t wait to see more of this reaction, and each one brings a bigger laugh.
