Steven Gerrard posts Instagram message, Ally McCoist & Jamie Carragher respond

Rangers finally got their hands on the Scottish Premiership title at Ibrox this afternoon.

It was an exceptional day, as the Bears crushed Aberdeen beforehand by four goals to none to seal our invincible campaign and pass 100 points.

Steven Gerrard recently passed his third anniversary in Glasgow and this was the icing on the cake for all he has done for the club.

Gerrard has taken to his personal Instagram account already, sending a message to the fans who had to watch from outside the ground or at home.

“This is for every one of you Rangers fans,” he said.

There were numerous messages from famous faces celebrating the achievement, with former England teammates Jamie Carragher and John Terry delighted.

Ally McCoist was also spotted sending a message back, celebrating as he left Ibrox after covering the game live on Sky Sports.

“What a day,” he wrote.

History.

Gerrard came up to Glasgow with a huge reputation after his famous career, and likely with many hoping that he fails drastically.

He has done the complete opposite and has dominated a Celtic side who haven’t let us forget what they had done over the past nine years.

The Green side of Glasgow can’t accept that there is a new leader in town, and Gerrard is planning to keep it that way for many years to come.

Just look at the faces supporting the Bears boss, he has so much experience to lean on, and no matter how things are going, he can seek their advice.

Gerrard admitted to seeking advice from Sir Alex Ferguson this season, but this is his moment and no one else’s, he has brought us back to the big time.
