Rangers to announce 'one or two' new signings in near future - Barry Ferguson

Rangers have announced the signing of Fashion Sakala this week from Oostende, and fans have been told to expect more business in the near future.

That’s according to Barry Ferguson, who believes that “one or two” more faces could arrive at Ibrox in the coming weeks.

The Bears are already planning for next season with only two games left to play, and Steven Gerrard is being back significantly.

Speaking via the Daily Record, Ferguson shared that there would be no surprise to see more faces coming through the door.

“It just shows you that the board, again, are willing to back Steven Gerrard,” he said.

“That’s a great thing – and don’t be surprised, over the coming weeks you’ll see another one or two coming through the door.”

This would be brilliant news.

While Celtic are still struggling to even comprehend what has happened this season, the Bears have pushed past that and are making themselves even stronger for the next campaign.

Our fierce rivals need a complete rebuild, a new manager, and an overhaul of their squad, something that is music to our ears as we push forward.

One clear area that we need to strengthen after Sakala’s arrival is midfield.

Ryan Jack and Scott Arfield have suffered from injuries all season, and Bongani Zungu is set to return to Amiens, leaving a serious lack of depth.

Should that issue be resolved in the coming weeks, alongside Nnamdi Ofoborh arriving after his pre-contract, the Bears are looking in business to continue this domination.
