Tom English has been left dumbstruck by Rangers dominance over Celtic this season in the Scottish Premiership.
It was the last instalment of the Old Firm during this campaign on Sunday afternoon, with the Bears crushing their rivals 4-1 at Ibrox.
English believes it has been “embarrassing” and “grim” for the Celtic, and one look at the table is enough to start mass change at Parkhead.
Writing in the live blog for the Old Firm on BBC Sport, English savaged Celtic and how far they have fallen behind the Bears this season.
“This Celtic team were brilliant for so long, but they are gone,” he said.
“This team needs to be buried and resurrected in a different form. Celtic need to start making decisions quickly. 23 points behind Rangers? It’s embarrassing. It’s grim for Celtic.”
It is still leaving everyone outside of Ibrox shocked that the gap is so big, but it has been like this all season, and it has been earned.
The Bears are a different animal during this campaign, will it take us going unbeaten in the league and hitting 100 points for everyone to recognise that?
That is now six Old Firm games unbeaten, so this heavy win isn’t a surprise, and we can expect many more to come with the way our rivals are going.
Steven Gerrard is already plotting for next season with his transfer plans, whereas Celtic can’t even appoint their new manager, prepare for more of the same.
