Our panel of Rangers Super Fans have torn into ex-Celtic player John Collins after he claimed Odsonne Edouard is better than Alfredo Morelos.

Speaking BBC Sportsound, as quoted by the Scottish Sun, Collins said that only three Celtic players would be in a combined XI of the two Old Firm rivals.

Ryan Christie and Kristoffer Ajer were included while Collins also opted for Edouard over Morelos, saying the French striker is a “better player” than the Colombia international.

Rangers

We shared Collins’ quotes to our panel of Super Fans on our Facebook page Rangers Insider and here is what they had to say:

Morelos has scored 11 goals in 26 Scottish Premiership appearances this season while Edouard has netted 16 in 27.

It’s not really much more, especially when you consider the fact that Rangers are able to score goals from all areas of the pitch.

It’s has been a quiet season for Morelos, we cannot deny that. But the Colombian has not only proven himself to be one of the best strikers in recent times in Scottish football but he’s also shown his worth in Europe for Rangers.

Morelos has bagged 23 goals in European football for the Light Blues. Edouard has scored 15.

It’s quite obvious that Morelos is able to score more goals against better opposition with teams like Porto, Feyenoord and Benfica conceding to him. Edouard got a consolation goal against AC Milan – wow.

We don’t need to prove why Scottish champion Morelos is a better striker than Edouard to our Rangers-supporting readers.

He’s simply the best and we all know it.
