Our Rangers heroes have pushed so hard this season but tonight was a step too far.
And Chris Sutton just couldn’t resist taking a dig after damning us with faint praise.
In a six-word verdict on Twitter, he said, “Good run in Europe for Rangers.”
If he’d left it there we would have had some respect for him.
However, he went on to take a dig at Rangers and WWE superstar Drew McIntyre who sent out a Gers battle cry earlier today.
After McIntyre had tweeted, “55 secured, now we march on in Europe. I bleed blue, we are Rangers. Can you see us now?”
Sutton said, “But I can’t see you anymore Drew McIntyre.”

Heroes one and all
We don’t expect any better from Sutton. We’ve given up on that.
But Rangers can go out with their heads held high tonight, despite a nightmare night.
An early goal for Slavia Prague set the tone for the evening and they were tough opponents.
It got much harder in the second half when Kemar Roofe, only brought on at half time, saw red for a very high challenge on goalkeeper Ondrej Kolar.
He had his eye on the ball and there was no intent but it was a definite red and left Kolar in no condition to carry on.
It got even worse, as Leon Balogun was sent off after getting his second yellow on 72 minutes, leaving Rangers with nine men.
Slavia Prague finished the tie from the free-kick in what turned out to be a grim night at Ibrox.
There was no way we were going to score three goals after that and we did well not to collapse.
Now it’s time to put that behind us as we go to Celtic as champions on Sunday.
