This is part of a regular series from our panel of Rangers Super Fans. Each week, our Super Fans will deliver their verdicts on the biggest talking points and news stories around Ibrox.

Rangers moved to within one point of becoming Premiership champions after they easily dispatched St Mirren 3-0 on Saturday.

The front three all got on the scoresheet with Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos setting the Gers on their way in the opening 20 minutes at Ibrox before Ianis Hagi got in on the act in the second half.

Steven Gerrard’s side have been levels above every other team in the Premiership this season and this was obvious against the Saints.

It was actually a bit of a revenge mission with St Mirren the only side to have beaten the Light Blues this season when they upset the odds to win 3-2 in the League Cup in December, but this was proven to be a fluke at Ibrox.

We asked our panel of Rangers Super Fans to decide their man of the match from the 3-0 win and two obvious names cropped up in Kent and Morelos.

Here is what they had to say:

We’re certainly not going against our Super Fans on this one – Morelos and Kent were outstanding.

They have both been in electric form of late.

Kent now has four goals in his last five games after failing to score in his five previous outings while Morelos has scored in each of the last four and battled back brilliantly from his SFA ban that sidelined him for a couple of weeks.

Both will be vital to our chances of progression in the Europa League and we’re backing them to do the business and show why they are two of the most feared forwards left in the competition.

They were big factors in clashes with Royal Antwerp and they have stepped it up at the right time.

Both are fully deserving of their impending Premiership medal and we hope we get the chance to see them live in the flesh soon.
