Tam Cowan and Alan Rough have backed Rangers to cruise past Livingston in their Scottish Premiership clash on Wednesday evening.
Steven Gerrard has confirmed his team news, with Leon Balogun the only fresh doubt after the heroics aganist Royal Antwerp in the Europa League.
Livingston come into this one after their disappointment in the Scottish League Cup against St Johnstone on Sunday afternoon.
Speaking on PLZ Soccers’ The Football Show on Tuesday, both Cowan and firstly Rough claimed it could be a long night for the home side.
“I think Steven Gerrard will want to wrap up this league as quick as possible,” he said.
“It isn’t a good sign for Livingston, I think they’ll put out a strong side, they’ll want the three points and I thinking they’ll win comfortably, 2-0.”
Cowan then went down the same road, claiming the League Cup final defeat will still be in the heads of the Livingston squad.
“I think no matter how much of a motivator that David Martindale appears to be, I think the Livi heads must be down after Sunday.
“Rangers are absolutely rampant at the moment, I’ll go 2-0 as well.”
The Bears are in untouchable form.
Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos haven’t enjoyed the best of seasons, but the duo have recently been incredible, with their goal involvements through the roof in all competitions.
Gerrard has called for his side to wrap up the Scottish Premiership title as soon as possible, and three points at the Tony Macaroni could do just that depending on Celtic’s next result.
The one team you don’t want to face when you’re down in the dumps, it’s the Gers, and Livingston could get some salt rubbed in the wounds tomorrow.
