Rangers eventually cruised to a 4-1 victory against Dundee United in their Scottish Premiership clash on Sunday afternoon.

The Bears didn’t have it all their own way though and had Allan McGregor to thank for keeping the away side at bay to pick up the three points.

Ianis Hagi, Joe Aribo, Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent got the goals, although both had an element of luck about them with deflections playing vital roles in the ball finding the net.

McGregor is just getting better and better with age.

The veteran stopper has been keeping the Gers in games each week recently, and something is going to have to change soon.

Steven Gerrard will be delighted with McGregor, but also massively frustrated that he is even having to make this many saves every 90 minutes.

After making his most saves in the 1-1 draw against Hamilton recently, he was forced into three in the space of the opening 20 minutes today.

In typical McGregor style, he made the saves and then gave his outfield teammates that famous glare, showing he isn’t happy despite his own impressive performance.

Many Rangers fans have reacted to the performance of McGregor at Ibrox, and it is fair to say that they were delighted with what they saw.

The majority singled the keeper out for the Man of the Match award, with one even claiming that he is carrying 55 on his back at this stage of the campaign.
