Rangers have embarrassed Celtic on and off the pitch this season as they charge towards the Scottish Premiership title.
The Bears are currently 15 points ahead at the top of the Scottish Premiership, and Steven Gerrard will accept nothing but 100% as they near 55 at Ibrox.
That dominance doesn’t stay on the pitch, with the Gers getting more than three million Twitter engagements more than Celtic in the past month.
Deportes Finanzas shared the figures on their official Twitter account on Thursday, something that Rangers were quick to retweet.
It was accompanied by an image of Allan McGregor rubbing his hands together, highlighting the joy we all take from bettering our rivals once again.
Rangers ahead of Celtic in these latest figures isn’t surprising, but the fact that the gap is over three million is a massive shock.
During January, the Hoops capitulated off the pitch and there were plenty of protests outside of Parkhead demanding changes.
The Bears were continuing their dominance on the pitch, and things didn’t start tumbling off the grass until the past week with the group of five breaching COVID-19 protocols, something that should see these standings stay the same.
Many Rangers fans have reacted to their side crushing the Old Firm rivals on social media, and it was hard to resist more digs at them.
The majority admitted that it was crazy given that the Hoops had crumbled and consistently called for the head of Neil Lennon.
Ibrox News have picked out some of the best reactions below…
