Rangers fans have been reacting on Twitter after Steven Gerrard confirmed that forward Kemar Roofe is a fresh entry on his list of injured players.
Ryan Jack has been out of action for a while and Scott Arfield has also been sidelined in recent weeks.
Speaking ahead of Rangers’ trip to Aberdeen on Sunday, Gerrard confirmed that Roofe “may miss a couple of games” with a new injury setback while Jordan Jones and George Edmundson are also out, as well as long-term injury sufferer Nikola Katic.
🎙️ SG: Kemar Roofe won't be with us at the weekend and may miss a couple of games.
Jordan Jones has a calf issue and should be back next week. George Edmundson is off to see a specialist as he has an issue with his hip area. Katic is also progressing well each week.

Roofe has been in scintillating form for the Light Blues as of late with the former West Brom and Leeds attacker scoring eight goals in his last nine Scottish Premiership appearances.
He’s been playing either out wide or as a centre-forward and while it’s a blow to not have him available at Pittodrie this weekend, Gerrard does have options to replace the in-form star.
However, that hasn’t stopped a section of Rangers fans from feeling gutted about Roofe’s new setback with one saying it’s a “huge blow“.
Here is a selection of their tweets:
Roofe is a huge blow ………now we need the goalscoring Wee 🐃 to re appear and keep the heid

No Roofe again man, brutal. I'd bring in 1 or 2 players this window because we seem to keep getting quite lengthy injuries. https://t.co/7SlKfliS3l

Roofe was substituted off at half-time against Celtic last week and was replaced by Ianis Hagi so you would imagine that Hagi will start in his place at Pittodrie on Sunday.
Luckily for the Gers, Hagi has been in superb form lately with the Romania international scoring two goals and supplying two assists in his last five Premiership games.
Hagi has started to grow into the role of playing out wide so let’s see what he can do in the tough away trip to the Granite City this weekend.
In other Rangers news, Gerrard has dropped a big hint about Leon Balogun’s future at Ibrox.
