‘Dare I say it’ – Exclusive: Alex McLeish predicts Rangers clash v Celtic, backs 24y/o to score
We’re delighted to welcome former Rangers manager Alex McLeish as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Ibrox…
Alex McLeish has backed Rangers to beat Celtic in the Old Firm clash at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon.
The pundit has predicted that Alfredo Morelos will find the back of the net after returning to the scoresheet in the 2-0 win against St. Mirren on Wednesday.
The 24-year-old has yet to score against our fierce rivals and has picked up more red cards in Old Firm games as it stands.

Speaking exclusively to Ibrox News, McLeish said, “Celtic will be coming with a bit more confidence.
“I do think Rangers will win it and Celtic are coming with a different threat though, that’s clear and a couple of weeks ago, you would have said Rangers would over the top of them, but Celtic have now found a bit of form.
“I feel like the strikers are in very good confidence, and dare I say it? Morelos could break his duck, he’ll be desperate to lose it.”

Steven Gerrard will be relishing this Old Firm clash and has managed his side perfectly in the build-up to what could potentially be a title-decider.
Morelos had been on the bench since returning from his two-game ban but was thrown into the starting XI to give Ryan Kent a rest, and he repaid his faith by finding the back of the net.
The Colombian international has only scored four times this season, and if he can find the form of seasons gone by, the Bears will charge towards the title – fingers crossed it starts tomorrow.
