Rangers fans were blown away by Joe Aribo’s performance in the first half of their Scottish Premiership showdown with St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park on Wednesday night.
Aribo, 24, has been in stunning form for the Light Blues this season and was at his best in Perth when he assisted Glen Kamara’s goal to make it 2-0 to the Scottish Premiership leaders after a gorgeous bit of play.
The former Charlton midfielder has made 17 appearances in all competitions for the Gers this season, scoring four goals in the process. His assist at McDiarmid Park was his second of the league campaign.
Rangers fans flocked to Twitter in the first half to drool over Aribo’s touch in the build-up to Kamara’s goal.
It really was something special.

Aribo has been in scintillating form for Rangers this season.
According to stats by Wyscout, before the trip to Perth, the Nigeria international ranks second in the Scottish Premiership for deep completions per 90 minutes [2.92]. That means that only Ianis Hagi [2.99] passes the ball into the penalty area from within 20 metres of the goal.
He also has the highest accuracy of smart passes in the league [80%] and ranks seventh for one-v-one dribbles per 90 minutes [6.67].
Aribo is a special player and one that Gerrard has turned into a real asset for Rangers.
In other Rangers news, the Gers are letting this player leave the UK and return home for Christmas.
