Rangers won Group D at a canter in the end after a 2-0 win against Lech Poznan saw their incredible unbeaten record carry on.
Cedric Itten and Ianis Hagi got the goals as Benfica could only draw with Standard Liege in the other game.
It left Rangers on 14 points – the highest points total for any Scottish side in a European group. And, after drawing with Benfica twice after holding two-goal leads, it could have been even better for this remarkable side.
It means that Rangers are seeded and get to avoid some of the harder teams in the Round of 32 draw on Monday.
Winning the group also means that Rangers pick up a £900,000 bonus on top of the £515,000 (or ten Glen Kamara’s) for qualifying.
There were no weak links on the night – and that’s been a real feature of the Gers team this season.
But Joe Aribo, playing in a more advanced role on the right, really impressed a lot of fans.
His displays can often fly under the radar, and he’s come in for some criticism this season, but he put in a quietly effective shift in Poland, delivering in attack and in defence.
He showed flashes of what he can really do and we think there’s still a lot more to come from the Nigeria international.
However, he was brilliant in the Gers side last night and his performance was hailed by plenty of fans.
Some picked up on his incredible control of the ball, with one Bear exclaiming, “I don’t understand how Aribo can control a football like that… it’s actually unreal.”
Here are the rest of the reactions from excited Gers fans…
