It was definitely the perfect Sunday for Rangers as they cruised past Falkirk in the Scottish League Cup.
To make things better, only hours before that, Celtic crashed out of the same competition after an embarrassing home defeat against Ross County.
No such mistakes from the Bears though, who scored four and kept a clean-sheet – continuing the perfect start to the season.
Kris Boyd was the analyst on Sky Sports for the game, and his reaction to both of these games and gained him even more fans at Ibrox.
“It’s a really, really bad result for Celtic, they’ve won this competition for the last four years in a row and obviously to lose it as well,” he said. “Jermain Defoe has just put Rangers 1-0 up as well so it’s even better.”
His comments were joined by a big grin and laugh at the expense of Celtic, and that just about sums up their dreadful season under Neil Lennon.
Rangers made it look easy, and will be brimming with confidence going into the quarter-final stage of the cup.
Steven Gerrard will know that this is now a trophy that everyone will expect Rangers to win, and although we may laugh at Celtic now, we must manage these expectations.
Many Rangers fans have reacted to the clip of Boyd on Sky Sports, with most of them claiming it made their weekend.
The majority admitted they couldn’t stop laughing, and that they were surprised Boyd managed to hold it in for so long during his analysis.

This guy has totally upped his game concerning us. We made him rich, he won us games. He doesn't need to bow to Liewell's puppets now.

I'm not sure how Coisty and Davie weir managed to keep straight faces when they were getting asked about Lennon at the start of tonight's game, I wouldn't have been able to keep it in the same as Boyd π€£π€£π€£
