'100%', 'Absolute no-brainer' - Many Rangers fans wowed by 'Fantastic player' transfer story

Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to show their support for a move for Kenny McLean after the Norwich City midfielder was linked with a move to Ibrox.

According to the Scottish Sun, the Light Blues have set their sights on signing the 28-year-old, who could be willing to head to Glasgow in the January transfer window.

It is understood that Rangers could mak a loan-to-buy offer for the Scotland international in the next transfer window while a “deal paid in instalments” is also on the cards.

McLean has been in and out of the Norwich squad this season following the Canaries relegation to the English Championship.

He’s made eight appearances and scored one goal for the East Anglia club in the Championship but has only earned four starts out of 11 fixtures.

While McLean is struggling for game-time at Carrow Road, he’s been vital to Scotland’s qualification to the European Championships by five of their group stage qualifiers and both play-off games versus Israel and Serbia.

McLean came off the bench in Belgrade on Thursday night to score Scotland’s fifth and final spot-kick in their penalty shoot-out victory.

Plenty of Rangers fans are in support of a move for the former Aberdeen midfielder, with one saying a deal would be an “absolute no-brainer” in January.
