'Massive name' - These Rangers reveal which brand they want to replace Hummel

Many Rangers fans have taken to social media to express their desire for Adidas to be the club’s new kit manufacturer.

The Gers are facing a search for their new sportswear partner after it was announced on Wednesday that they were on the lookout for a fresh deal ahead of next season, as per the Daily Record.

The club have had their kit supplied by Hummel for the past two years, and initially signed a three-year deal with the company.

But that has been derailed after issues with Sports Direct and Mike Ashley persisted, and a judge ordered that they couldn’t continue their agreement with Hummel or Elite Group, who sold their shirts.

Any new deal will also call into question the name of the club’s training ground, with Hummel buying the rights to Auchenhowie in 2017.

But many fans have seemingly made their minds up on who they would like to replace Hummel.

Adidas appears to be a very popular choice, and it would surely be a major coup if we could secure a deal with the three-striped brand.

Their products are always top quality, and there is a reason why they are one of the leading names in sports merchandise.

Whether there is a deal to be done there remains to be seen, but on the basis of this evidence, the supporters would be delighted if there was.
