Report details Leicester stance on Alfredo Morelos

It might be Alfredo Morelos’ dream to play in the Premier League but he might have to scratch Leicester off his list of potential destinations.

Despite reports linking the Rangers striker to Brendan Rodgers’s side, the Daily Record has said that there is no truth in them.

Their report claims Leicester aren’t interested in Morelos, while Ross Wilson has said that the prolific hitman isn’t going anywhere in January anyway.

There’s talk every window of Morelos moving south and he has fanned the flames himself after saying playing in the Premier League would be a dream for him.

The constant speculation hasn’t affected his form and the Colombian already has 22 goals across all competitions, including three in his last two Premiership games. Morelos has also scored in the last three consecutive Europa League games, including both games against Porto.

The Birmingham Mail has reported that Aston Villa are the favourites to sign Morelos but they are still only priced at 7/2.

Rumours will no doubt persist until the January window is closed and then only for a few weeks before summer speculation kicks off. We’re used to it. But we think the chances of the striker moving in January are as close to zero as is possible.
