It’s a huge game for Rangers on Thursday.
After drawing 1-1 in Portugal, a win against Porto on Thursday would put Rangers in with a strong chance of qualifying from the Europa group stage.
And Rangers go into the game in good form, after a 3-0 win against Hearts that enabled Steven Gerrard to sub off crucial players like Ryan Jack and Ryan Kent in the second-half.
Both of those players will start, along with Alfredo Morelos. The backline is likely to be the same from the Hearts game, with Filip Helander continuing his good form alongside Connor Goldson.
James Tavernier was the best we’ve seen him for a while on Sunday and Borna Barisic should continue on the left.
Glen Kamara should take the deep midfield role, with Jack and Steven Davis ahead of him.
We think that Sheyi Ojo will get the nod ahead of Scott Arfield. Arfield has more experience but Ojo, on his day, offers more going forward and Steven Gerrard knows he needs goals at Ibrox on Thursday.
This is the team that we think is good enough to get the vital three points.
